A durable plate rolling machine is fundamentally built on the machining technology of its frame and rollers.
The frame of the plate rolling machine is integrally fabricated by welding thick steel plates. After welding, it must undergo stress relief treatment to release the internal stress generated during welding. If this procedure is skipped, the frame is prone to deformation and vibration when the machine continuously rolls thick plates under heavy load, which will directly affect the forming accuracy of cylindrical workpieces. The frame after stress relief treatment boasts sufficient rigidity and stable load-bearing capacity, with minimal deformation during long-term operation.
As the core component, the work rollers are made of high-quality 42CrMo alloy steel. Starting from forging of raw materials, they go through rough turning, quenching and tempering heat treatment, finish turning, and finally precision cylindrical grinding. This complete process improves the strength, toughness and surface hardness of the rollers. The roller surface is wear-resistant and fatigue-resistant, and will not easily wear or bend under continuous extrusion.
A stable frame and precise rollers complement each other. This ensures stable roundness of workpieces and longer service life of the machine when batch rolling thick carbon steel and stainless steel plates.
